Biog
Grown up in Newquay all my life, thrown in the sea at the age of five, started out on a bodyboard as most do, realised lying down and holding on was for pussies!! I taught my self how to surf on my Dad's mal at the age of nine or ten. Got my own first board few months after, a 6'4 yellow beast nicknamed The Pig for obvious reasons. I started competing in the UK comps shortly after this and had won my first English grommet title by age eleven. I have always been really competitive from an early age, before I started surfing in comps I took part in surf life saving and played football, both at a high national level. I love to out do my friends and brothers, and I am always going toe to toe trying go push each other in the water or down the pub!!!
In the near future I want to keep doing well in the comps, be really focused and prepared in my head, and keep really fit inside and out of my body. I am super hungry to retain my english title and make a top five finish on the UK Pro Surf Tour as i know I definatly have the abillity, as long as I stay clear headed. I also want to push my self in the bigger heavier waves, this is where I think I can shine, with a "Dont know till u go, f..k it" attitude, and also get media coverage well doing this hope this is.
